The recently held Fertilizer Outlook & Technology Conference, hosted by The Fertilizer Institute and the Fertilizer Industry Round Table in Jacksonville, FL, was a stirring look into the nexus between clean water efforts and the efforts of the Fertilizer Industry to keep it that way.
Water quality is vital to us all, and will always be an important concern for modern Ag. Combining the endeavors of Federal, State, and Local Authorities, NGO’s, and the Ag Industry to come up with workable and timely solutions that include everything from best practices to smart regulation will be the way forward. The conference’s consensus is that water quality will remain a fundamental and significant consideration moving forward as we do the business of providing for our neighbors.
