Yesterday, May 12th, we participated in Waconia Works Signing Day at Waconia High School. It’s the first time WHS has done this but we hope to continue this every year and grow the participation from both a student and business perspective.
Kyle Glaser will graduate high school and continue to work for us over the summer full time. We have committed to assist him with his schooling expenses, and then he will come on with us full-time in a year when he has his diploma.
What we like about Kyle, besides being a very nice young man, is that he has proven to be a steady and capable young welder who takes direction well, is very willing to learn, and does anything asked of him with a great attitude. He has been working closely with our welding leads Gayle Farniok and Shawn Olson.
We are very excited to have him signed up to join our team long term, and we look forward to working with WHS in the future as we help bring new people into the trades!
